Our team

Peter Wong
Director


Peter Wong began his financial services career in Australia in early 2000s as a Private Client Adviser at a national stockbroking firm providing high level trade executions and portfolio management for his clients. During his tenure at the firm, he was also responsible for the proprietary trading desk as the Head of Trading in Perth.

 In 2016, leveraging his experience trading on the ASX; he founded a proprietary equity trading firm and boasts a team of dedicated professionals who share his passion for trading with in-depth knowledge of the local market. He continues to draw upon his knowledge to mentor traders and to provide access to multi- asset trading facility at SNAP Innovations.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) from the University of Western Australia.


Ben Ritchie
Managing Director


Ben is the Managing Director for Alpha Node. His experience in business and financial controls expands over 20 years, with notable senior roles, being Trustee, AFSL and Investment Fund Operations, Financial Controller, Acting CFO and Company Secretary for an ASX Listed Company.

Amongst his current Directorships is Bamboo, a micro investment app, which provides access to digital assets 

Ben has extensive experience with trading digital assets, developing controls around digital assets and their management, together with brokerage, consulting, education and capital financing of digital assets.

Ben is a former Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Business Law).

Dr. Andy Ting
Strategic Advisor


Dr Andy Ting has over 15 years industry experience in trading systems and technical analysis, with a strong focus on using artificial intelligence to improve trading algorithms in financial markets.


Dr. Ting’s interest in AI research and development led to the creation of a human decision-making model called SNAP, which was initially used in military simulations before being applied to financial markets.


As a result of this work, several high-value products have been developed and are currently in use at multiple institutions.


Dr. Ting obtained his Bachelor of Computer Engineering, Masters of Computer Engineering and PhD from Nanyang Technological University.
